How to Use Your Botanical Multi-Use Ritual Elixir

One bottle, four uses — face, body, hair and nails. How much to use, how to pair it with your massage tools, and which of the nine scents to reach for.

Bottle of Irka & Co Botanical Multi-Use Ritual Elixir, jojoba and camellia oil infused with real dried flowers

One bottle for your face, your body, your hair and your nails. Here is how much to use, and when.

What it is

A base of jojoba and camellia oils, hand-infused with real botanicals for two weeks. Jojoba is close to the skin’s own sebum and is non-comedogenic, so the oil sinks in rather than sitting on top.

There are no essential oils in the blend. The scent comes from the flowers themselves, infused into the oil — nothing synthetic, no added fragrance.

It comes in 1 fl oz (30 ml). The single-flower elixirs — Rose, Calendula, Neroli, Lavender — also come in 2 fl oz (60 ml).

Before you begin
  • Warm the oil between your palms first. Cold oil sits on the skin; warm oil absorbs.
  • Press it in rather than rubbing.
  • Patch test before the first full use if your skin is sensitive.

Four ways to use it

On your face

Two to three drops is enough for the whole face. Warm them between your palms, then press into clean skin. If you use a gua sha or a massage tool, this is the layer that lets the stone glide — without it, the edge drags.

On your body, after a shower

Use it as a sealant while your skin is still damp. It locks in the water that is already there, which is what keeps skin soft.

On your scalp and roots

  1. Part your hair and work the oil directly into the roots.
  2. Massage the scalp with your fingertips or a scalp comb, slowly, to stimulate circulation.
  3. Leave it for 20 minutes.
  4. Wash your hair as usual. The result is stronger, shinier-looking hair.

On your nails and cuticles

A single drop worked into each cuticle. This is the smallest use and the easiest to keep up — keep the bottle where you sit in the evening.

Choosing your scent

Nine infusions, one base. Pick by what you want from the moment, not by which smells strongest:

  • Lavender Calm — deep detensioning and restful sleep.
  • Rose Radiance — regeneration and vitality.
  • Rosemary Vitality — scalp stimulation and hair health. The one to choose if the scalp ritual is why you bought it.
  • Peppermint Refresh — to cool tired muscles.
  • Calendula Glow — soothing sensitive areas.
  • Neroli Serenity — brightness and balance.
  • Chamomile Dream — peace and comfort.
  • Jasmine Harmony — mood lifting.
  • Forget-Me-Not Essence — delicate, refined care.
Storage

Keep the bottle closed and out of direct sunlight. Botanical oils keep best somewhere cool and dark.

Care notes
  • Patch test first if your skin is sensitive.
  • Skip any area where the skin is broken, irritated or sunburned.
  • Keep it out of your eyes.
  • This is a self-care ritual, not a treatment. If you have a skin condition or any concern, a dermatologist is the right person to ask.
