No oil, no water, no preparation. Pick it up, and the warmth of your hand starts releasing the herbs it was pressed from.

What it is

Each comb is handcrafted from a pressed herbal wood composite — a traditional blend of Chinese Arborvitae Leaf, Fo-ti (He Shou Wu), Angelica Sinensis, Agarwood, Lysimachia Herb and Sandalwood — shaped by hand and left to reveal its natural herbal aroma with warmth and touch. No synthetic fragrance, ever.

That scent is not added. It comes out of the material itself as you use it, and it gets stronger the more the comb is handled.

Before you begin
  • Dry hair. This comb is made for a dry ritual — no oil needed, and it should not be used in the shower.
  • Warm it in your palm for a moment first. That is what wakes the herbal scent.
  • Sit somewhere you can slow down. Hurrying a scalp comb defeats the purpose entirely.

The ritual, step by step

  1. Start at the hairline. Set the comb against the scalp and draw it slowly back toward the crown.
  2. Work across the whole head in unhurried lines — front to back, then side to side.
  3. Slow down above the ears. That tight band is where a long day collects, and it deserves more time than the rest.
  4. Finish through the length of your hair, lifting it away from the scalp as you go.

Which shape does what

The range is one material in several forms, and each gives a different kind of touch:

  • Fine, closely set teeth — trace the scalp in slow lines. The everyday one.
  • Rounded tips — press into the tight band above the ears.
  • A curved body that sits in the palm — works firm, deliberate pressure into single tender points.
  • Wide-set teeth — glide through length and lift hair away from the scalp.

There are six designs to choose from: Floral, Lotus, Red Lotus, Phoenix, Dolphin and Rabbit.

Cleaning and storage
  • Keep it away from water. This is pressed herbal wood, not plastic — it is not made to be washed, rinsed or soaked.
  • Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. That is all it needs.
  • Store it somewhere dry and out of direct sun, so the wood keeps its scent.
Care notes
  • Steady pressure, never sharp. The teeth are shaped to glide, not to scratch.
  • Skip any area where the scalp is broken, irritated or sunburned.
  • Herbal wood is a natural material. Color and grain vary from comb to comb.
  • This is a comfort ritual, not a treatment. If you are concerned about hair loss or a scalp condition, a dermatologist is the right person to see.
