Copper and purple sandalwood Little Horse facial massage tool resting on driftwood

How to Use Your Copper & Purple Sandalwood Little Horse Facial Tool

The smallest tool in the collection — a little horse carved from purple sandalwood, weighing less than two ounces, that turns any quiet minute into a short facial massage.

The Problem It Solves

The right moment for a facial massage rarely lines up with having the right tool on hand — most are too big for a bag or a desk drawer. This one sits between two fingers and weighs almost nothing, so a minute at your mirror, at your desk, or mid-flight becomes usable.

How to Use It

  1. Slow, upward strokes. Sweep the copper balls along the jaw, cheeks and brow, one direction at a time.
  2. Dry or with oil. A few drops of facial oil help it glide beautifully; dry works too.
  3. Beyond the face. The same rows work small tension points at the temples, neck, hands and forearms.
  4. Two to five minutes is plenty.

Pure Copper, Verified

The ten massage balls are T2-grade copper — the Chinese national standard for pure copper, a minimum of 99.9%. Our batch tests at 99.98%, with lead and arsenic below 0.005%, verified by mill certificate.

Why Purple Sandalwood?

Purple sandalwood is one of the densest, most finely grained woods used in traditional carving. It starts a deep chocolate-violet and darkens toward black as it is handled — a living material that becomes more beautiful with use. A detail we love: the carved opening doubles as a finger rest and a hanging hole, so it can travel on a bag as a charm between massages (cord and keyring not included).

Cleaning and storage
  • Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after use.
  • Do not soak in water — it is natural wood.
  • Copper may develop a soft patina over time; this is normal and polishes back in seconds.
Care notes
  • Light pressure — this is the most delicate skin you own.
  • Skip any area where the skin is broken, irritated or sunburned.
  • This is a self-care ritual, not a treatment. If you have a medical condition or any concern, ask your doctor first.
