Five minutes, three pieces, and the end of an ordinary evening. This is how to use your Jade Gua Sha & Scalp Ritual Set.
What’s in the set, and what each piece is for
- Jade gua sha brush with bristle tip — the stone edge is for the cheekbones, jawline and neck; the bristle side is for the scalp.
- Jade mushroom massager — palm-sized, made for the smaller places: under the eyes, the temples, the brow.
- Glow Rituals Botanical Infused Oil, 1 fl oz (30 ml) — a jojoba and camellia seed base, hand-infused with real flowers, fragrance-free.
- An eco-friendly gift box and a cotton keepsake pouch.
Jade is a natural stone, so no two pieces are identical — small variations in tone and veining are part of it.
- Start on clean skin. The oil is what lets the stone glide — without it, the edge drags.
- Sit somewhere you can stay for five minutes. This works best unhurried.
- If your skin is sensitive, patch test the oil before the first full use.
Your five-minute ritual
- Warm the oil. Two to three drops between your palms, then press — don’t rub — into clean skin.
- Glide the jade edge outward. Slowly, from the center of the face outward: along the cheekbones, then the jawline, then the neck.
- Switch to the mushroom for the small areas. Under the eyes, the temples, the brow. Light pressure here.
- Finish at the scalp. Turn the brush to the bristle tip and work it slowly through the scalp.
Direction of movement
Always from the center of the face outward, never back and forth. Across the Irka & Co massage tools the same principle holds: move slowly, always toward the heart.
How long
Five minutes, start to finish. The set was made as an evening ritual — the last quiet thing before bed.
Pairing it with your botanical oil
The set arrives with one botanical infused oil in the scent you chose. Each is built on the same jojoba and camellia base; the infusion is what changes:
- Lavender Calm — for deep detensioning and restful sleep.
- Rose Radiance — for regeneration and vitality.
- Calendula Glow — for soothing sensitive areas.
- Neroli Serenity — for brightness and balance.
- Chamomile Dream — for peace and comfort.
You can refill with the Botanical Multi-Use Ritual Elixir in any of the nine scents.
- Rinse the jade under cool water if you like, or simply wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.
- After using oil, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap works — then dry it right away.
- Never leave the pieces soaking.
- Store them in the cotton pouch that came in the box, somewhere dry.
- Jade is stone. Dropped on a hard surface, it can chip — work seated, over a soft surface if you can.
- Keep the pressure light around the eyes and temples.
- Patch test the oil first if your skin is sensitive.
- Skip any area where the skin is broken, irritated or sunburned.
- This is a self-care ritual, not a treatment. If you have a skin condition or any concern, a dermatologist is the right person to ask.
