How to Use Your Jade Lymphatic Massage Brush

Thirty jade heads on a wooden base, and two quiet minutes. How to use it dry or in the shower, which direction to work, and how to keep the wood right.

Jade lymphatic massage brush with thirty jade heads set into a solid wood base with a hand strap

Thirty smooth jade heads, cool against the skin, and a hand strap so you never have to grip. Two quiet minutes is enough.

What it is, and where it works

A solid wood base set with thirty jade heads, and a strap that slips over the back of your hand. Natural jade and wood — no plastic feel.

It is a whole-body tool: neck, arms, abdomen, glutes and legs. It also moves gently over the scalp without pulling hair.

Before you begin
  • Slip your hand under the strap rather than gripping the base. The strap is what lets your hand stay relaxed.
  • Decide dry or wet: dry over bare skin, or in the shower with your favorite oil or conditioner. Both work.
  • Two minutes is enough. Five is a small luxury.

Your two-minute ritual

  1. Start at the legs. Slow, gentle circles, working from the ankles upward.
  2. Move to the glutes and abdomen. Same slow circles, unhurried.
  3. Then the arms, from the wrists up toward the shoulders.
  4. Finish at the neck, working downward toward the collarbone.

Direction of movement

Slow circles, always moving toward the heart. That direction is the whole principle behind the Irka & Co body tools — it is what turns a rub into a ritual.

On the scalp

The same brush works over dry hair. Work slow circles from the hairline back. The jade heads are rounded, so they move across the scalp without catching or pulling.

How long

Two quiet minutes is enough; five is a small luxury.

Cleaning and storage
  • After use in the shower: rinse and towel-dry, then wipe the wood dry.
  • Do not soak the wooden base for long periods.
  • Store it somewhere dry, out of the shower.
Care notes
  • Let the weight of the brush do the work. There is no reason to press.
  • Skip any area where the skin is broken, irritated or sunburned.
  • Jade is stone and the base is wood — a hard drop can chip either.
  • This is a self-care ritual, not a treatment. If you have a medical condition or any concern, ask your doctor first.
