Brass meridian massage brush with twenty-two solid brass nodes set into a compact hardwood body

How to Use Your Lymphatic Sculpting & Tension Relief Ritual Brush

Twenty-two solid brass nodes for thighs, arms and calves. How firm to press, which direction to work, how often, and how brass ages.

Brass meridian massage brush with twenty-two solid brass nodes set into a compact hardwood body

Twenty-two solid brass nodes and a handle wide enough to lean into. This is the firm one — here is how to use it well.

What it is, and where it works

A compact hardwood body studded with twenty-two solid brass nodes, and a widened elastic handle so your hand stays relaxed while you work.

It is made for the thighs, arms and calves — areas that hold tension, and areas where you notice the look of cellulite. Brass gives a cool, weighted pressure that the softer body tools don’t.

Depending on the package you chose, it came on its own, with an oil, or with an oil and a gift box.

Before you begin
  • Clean, dry skin, then a few drops of oil. The nodes need slip.
  • Start lighter than you think. Build pressure gradually over the first few sessions rather than going firm on day one.
  • Patch test the oil before the first full use if your skin is sensitive.

The ritual, step by step

  1. Apply a few drops of oil to clean, dry skin and press it in.
  2. Start at the calves. Glide the brass nodes firmly in upward strokes, from the ankle toward the knee.
  3. Move to the thighs. Same firm upward strokes, working toward the hip.
  4. Finish at the arms, from the wrist toward the shoulder.

Direction and pressure

Firm, upward strokes — one direction, then lift and start again. Never back and forth. Firm does not mean forced: if the skin flushes and stays flushed afterwards, ease off next time.

How often

Two to three times per week, a few mindful minutes each time. Consistent and moderate beats occasional and hard.

Which oil to pair it with

For the body, Peppermint Refresh to cool tired muscles, or Lavender Calm if this is an evening ritual. All nine infusions use the same jojoba and camellia base, with no essential oils. Refills: the Botanical Multi-Use Ritual Elixir.

Cleaning and storage
  • Wipe the brush with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
  • If you have used oil, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap — then dry it immediately.
  • Do not soak it. The hardwood body should never stand in water.
  • Brass darkens slowly with use and handling. That patina is normal and does not change how the tool works.
Care notes
  • Begin with lighter pressure and increase gradually.
  • Skip any area where the skin is broken, irritated or sunburned.
  • Avoid working directly over varicose veins or bruises.
  • This is a self-care ritual, not a treatment. If you have a medical condition or any concern, ask your doctor first.
